Final Round - Tables and Averages

Round 3 Report - Congratulations to Gloucester for retaining their title. The other teams will need to raise their game to wrestle the title away from them next season. Only two players ended the season undefeated Ben Roberts and Hamza Bham remained unbeaten throughout all 3 rounds.

I would like to thank all the team managers and players for their co-operation and good sportsmanship. There was never an issue with anyone umpiring and the conduct on the table was excellent.

Thanks also to Janie Kirby for assisting me at each of the 3 rounds and to County President Les Smith for presenting the certificates, medals and trophy today.

Round 2 - Tables and Averages

Round 2 Report - Gloucester appear to be in prime position to take the title this year. With one round to go they have a 13 point lead over Stroud who in turn lead Cheltenham by 11 points. Cirencester have broken their duck thanks to Isabelle Cartwrights win over Mary Pang who deputised for Cheltenham in the absence of their girl player.

The closest match of the day was between Dan Ind and Matt Mycoe. Dan eventually triumphed 13-11, 11-9, 9-11, 8-11, 23-21! All of the Gloucester boys retained their 100% records as did Emily Philp in the girls.
